Hi, this is Simon. I originally came from China and went the Ohio State University for undergraduate study. Then I worked full time as a Software Engineer for around 1 year before joining this amazing community – TC. 6+ years of experience in the US as an international student gave me a different perspective of culture, academics, and life here.

I enroll in this Learning in Small Groups class because I had actual experience during the work as I mentioned above. I saw the pros and cons of learning in small groups, so I want to share my opinions and think about how to bring up the team’s efficiency in a small group in a scientific way. It’s also an important lesson for a manager in the future.
