Bio Statement

Hi everyone! Nice to meet you! My name is Liu Chenhu, and I go by Tiger.

I am from China, and I lived in Shenzhen, now I live in Whittier Hall 7th floor. I got my first Bachelor’s degree from Hainan University during 2016-2020, and my major was Japanese; From 2020-2022, I studied at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and my major was International Finance, then I got my second Bachelor’s degree in July 2022; From 2020-2022, I also studied an online course learning at Lanzhou University, learning computer science major, and then I am one of the parts of learning analytics now!

My favorite movie is Nolan’s Interstellar, I rewatch it in its entirety probably every two years, the last time I saw it was three weeks ago, and the next time might be 2024. Whenever I immerse myself in this film, I feel the vastness of the universe, the smallness of human beings, and the love that has endless energy in it, and it is this love that never disappoints me. I believe that even if it gets dark every day, it will still be bright, just like our life, so do not go gentle into that good night.

One of my favorite books is the novel Paradise Lost by Junichi Watanabe, which I first read when I was in my second year of junior high school. At that time, for the first time, I felt a kind of beauty of sadness, a value that is different from Chinese social culture on the surface but has so many similarities at the core. After that, I read a lot of literary works extensively, and in the dialogue with the words, I kept getting to know this beautiful world. At the same time, I have also been to many countries, such as Japan, Russia, Vietnam, etc. Oh yes, and of course the United States!

I want to go to many American cities, such as Los Angeles, Seattle, Orlando, Boston, etc. If possible, I would like to take an in-depth experience tour along Route 66. Anyway, I am sure I will have a wonderful time here that I will never forget.

I don’t know what specific job I wanna do after I graduate from TC, but I think product manager and consumer manager may be good choices for me. I wanna find the link with people.

It is really nice to study with you, and I hope we can enjoy a wonderful experience here!
