As online learning has grown and matured, there is evidence that while it allows some students who would otherwise be unable to access education to pursue their studies, in the case of other students the results are disappointing. So it is particularly interesting to have a first-person account of a student who moved from campus based learning as an undergraduate to a fully online program for graduate studies.
Writing in Business Insider, Ni’Kesia Pannell discusses her experience as a student in an online graduate program. Pannell begins and ends by stating that an online degree program was the best option given her circumstances. In between, she highlights the fact that online programs move quickly and that it is important to be prepared and focused in order to succeed.
