(I Forgot the) Barbecue (Sauce) Chicken
Ingredients
Homemade Barbecue Sauce
1 ½ tbsp Olive Oil
¼ cup Diced Onions
2 Cloves Minced Garlic
5 tbsp Ketchup
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Molasses
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar or Cooking Wine
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Chicken
2 Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breast Halves or 6 Chicken Fingers
Directions
Preheat grill for medium-high heat
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic until tender.
Stir in ketchup, honey, molasses, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook a few minutes to thicken sauce. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Lightly oil the grill grate.
Dip chicken in sauce and turn to coat.
Cook on grill for 10 to 15 minutes.
Move to chicken to the skillet with the sauce and simmer over medium hear for about 5 minutes on each side.
