Rose Cookies
Ingredients
⅞ cup Sugar
1 ½ sticks Butter
2 Eggs
½ tsp Rose Extract
1 ½ tbsp Dried Culinary Grade Rose Petals
2 ½ cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
Directions
Mix sugar and butter with electric mixer for 5 minutes.
Add in eggs, rose extract, and rose petals.
Combine flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Mix the the dry ingredients slowly into the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Cover bowl and chill dough in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/3 inch thickness.
Use cookie cutters to cut dough into desired shapes and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
Bake in preheated oven for 4 to 5 minutes.
Place cookies on rack to cool completely.
