The rapid spread of AI has the potential to reshape approaches to distance learning. Writing in eLearning Industry, Amit Zandberg argues that course creators will need to re-think their offerings to move beyond the posting of knowledge which is increasingly available in more tailored forms thanks to AI. This means that the time honored relationship between teacher and student will re-emerge as a key dimension of distance learning.
