Future Classroom Lab is a project among a network of universities in Finland. The network supports the exploration of new technologies for classrooms and new approaches to the preparation of teachers to function in the new learning spaces. The project has identified six learning activity zones that can be represented in classrooms.
The project is also partnering with furniture maker Martela to study the use of classroom space using sensor technology. The results from this work are just becoming available. It will be worth watching this project as it evolves.
