Following the lead of Delhi University, the Aligarh Muslim University has decided that all end of term exams will be online and open book in light of the pandemic that closed the campus.
This move has been met with some criticism from the members of the teaching faculty who have objected on the grounds that not all students will have suitable access to the Internet.
This is another interesting example of how the pandemic has led to changes in evaluation processes that would be unimaginable under normal circumstances.
